After a year’s hiatus, the Serbia-Bavaria commission schedules meeting

The Ministry of International Economic Relations announced that following a year's hiatus, the 21st session of the Serbia-Bavaria Commission will be held in Belgrade, between March 14 and 16. It will be chaired by Serbian Minister of International Economic Relations Milan Parivodic and advisor to the Bavarian chancellor Hans Mayer.

The commission is extremely important in aiding the very broad economic cooperation that exists between the Republic of Serbia and Bavaria. Its purpose is to expand overall relations and promote all areas of mutual interest, such as economic cooperation, tourism, transport, the environment, agriculture, water-management and forestry, education, culture and science, public security, public administration, judiciary, infrastructure, as well as health and social issues.

The commission will hold a plenary session, as well as five working groups that will discuss the possibilities of cooperation in order to identify new projects, draw up joint work programmes and analyse achieved results.

Besides taking part in the work of the 21st session and in special talks to be held at the Serbian Ministry of International Economic Relations, representatives of the Bavarian delegation will meet with President of the Belgrade City Assembly Milorad Perovic and Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Zoran Loncar.
