Kacin congratulates Dacic on successful completion of government reshuffle

Prime Minister Ivica Dacic received a congratulatory note from European Parliament Rapporteur for Serbia Jelko Kacin following the successful completion of the government reshuffle.
“The reconstruction brought necessary turn and a new energy to the numerous challenges ahead of Serbia.
Thanks to the advances that have been achieved in the first year of the government’s mandate, Serbia got a date for membership talks with the EU.
The reconstruction of the government created a positive political momentum that should be used to accelerate the reform of the judiciary and implementation strategies for the fight against corruption.
Serbia is now in a position to use its human, economic and geographic potential in the region and take a faster pace in the EU integration.
Preconditions for the success of this process remains regional cooperation and normalisation of relations with Kosovo.
I am confident that you will remain at the forefront of efforts made in this field,” Kacin said.
Crown Prince Aleksandar Karadjordjevic also sent a congratulatory note, expressing confidence that the government reshuffle will be to the benefit of our state and nation.
