According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior, the Prijepolje municipal government has provided vehicles to take the survivors, their parents, as well as the bodies of those who died in the crash, back to Bulgaria.
The ministry, on its part, has ensured that the parents and relatives of the victims enter Serbia without usual customs procedures, the statement added. They were escorted by the Serbian traffic police on their way back to Bulgaria.
The search for the two bodies still unaccounted for has continued today, while an operation to pull the wreckage out of the river will start later in the day, according to the statement.
A Bulgarian delegation, led by the parliament speaker, will visit the site of the accident and a hospital in Prijepolje where the survivors received medical attention.
