Mrkic and Repentin agreed that Serbia and France will next year celebrate together the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.
Repentin reiterated that Serbia will certainly be a new member of the European family, and that France will provide its assistance.
He praised the foreign policy orientation of Serbia and stressed that its many positive moves are recognised in Europe, but also worldwide.
He also said that his country will continue to encourage the French investors to come to Serbia, which he said is the backbone of stability and prosperity in the Balkans.
He praised Serbia's participation in peacekeeping missions in Mali and Lebanon, and conveyed the invitation of President of France Francois Hollande to Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic to visit Paris on 14 July next year, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
