Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica received today a delegation of the Democratic Party of Serbs in Macedonia, consisting of Ivan Stojiljkovic, the party's President and Macedonian parliament member, and Vlastimir Dimkovic, member of the party's Presidency and President of the Staro Nagoricane municipality.
The participants in the meeting pointed to the importance of improving the status of national minorities in Macedonia and Serbia and stressed that both countries are committed to the respect of European values and integration to the European Union.
Kostunica highlighted the importance of participation of Serb representatives in Macedonian institutions and wished the Democratic Party of Serbs success at the upcoming local elections in Macedonia.
