Government adopts national strategy to combat misbehaviour at sporting events

The government adopted at its today's meeting the National strategy to combat misbehaviour at sporting events for the period 2013-2018 the action plan for its implementation.

These documents are the basis for the establishment of effective mechanisms of coordination and clear division of responsibilities in order to systematically prevent violence and misbehaviour at sports events.
Implementation of the strategy will enable the creation of a safe environment at sporting events and develop legal and institutional mechanisms for the prevention of violence.
In cooperation with sports federations and international organisations, European standards in this area are expected.
The amendments to the regulations enables quick and efficient processing of perpetrators of offences and a prevention of risk groups and known perpetrators to attend sporting events.
The government adopted the Bill ratifying the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and Montenegro on mutual representation and providing consular protection and services in third countries. The government adopted the Bill on railway safety and interoperability, as well as the Bill ratifying the Agreement between the government of Serbia and the government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the field of rail transport.
The Bill ratifying the Agreement on air transport between the government of Serbia and the government of Australia was also adopted.
The government adopted the Bill ratifying the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Belarus on legal assistance in civil criminal matters.
