Anti-corruption strategy for next five years adopted

The Serbian government adopted at its session today the national anti-corruption strategy for the 2013-2018 period.
This document, which will be examined by the Serbian Parliament, aims to enable strategic planning and creation of an efficient anti-corruption system in Serbia within the next five years.
The strategy defines six principles in the fight against corruption: the principle of the rule of law, zero tolerance to corruption, accountability, comprehensive implementation of measures and cooperation between all levels of authority, as well as the principle of efficiency and transparency.
It is envisaged that the Ministry of Justice analyses the implementation of the strategy and the action plan every three months.
