Mrkic said that Slovenia persistently and consistently supports our country at all meetings on the Union's enlargement.
The Minister said that the bilateral relations between the two countries are excellent, especially at the political and economic level, and added that they are probably at the highest level ever since they were established.
Erjavec reiterated that Slovenia fully supports Serbia’s getting a date to start accession negotiations with the EU, and he will discuss that at a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg on Monday.
He said that the two countries have no major outstanding issues, and stressed that Serbia considers Slovenia a strategic business partner.
Mrkic and Erjavec said they discussed the issue of succession, and expressed confidence that the issue would be resolved amicably and with mutual cooperation.
