Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Mrkic and the US Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Rosemary DiCarlo pointed out today to the great importance of the implementation of the agreement signed in Brussels by the delegations of Belgrade and Pristina.
Mrkic and DiCarlo noted that that will contribute to the stability of the region and to the attraction of foreign investment.
DiCarlo stated that the United States will make an influence on its partners in the world and thus support Serbia in the realisation of its foreign policy goals.
She congratulated Mrkic on everything Serbia has done to reinforce its position and improve its image in the world and added that the increasingly frequent contacts of top officials of Serbia and the United States are very important.
Today’s meeting was held on the eve of tomorrow’s session of the UN Security Council at which the regular quarterly report on Kosovo-Metohija will be presented, reads a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
