The government adopted the report of the Team for the development of the implementation plan of the agreement reached in Brussels and an implementation plan of the First agreement on principles governing the normalisation of relations with Kosovo, as a document that does not prejudge the status of Kosovo and Metohija.

Prime Minister Ivica Dacic has informed EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton on this decision.
The letter reads that the government of the Republic of Serbia believes that the adoption of the implementation plan and necessary laws for the implementation of the agreement will bring results that will suit the interest and expectations of the people and all sides involved in the process.
The Serbian government believes that the appointment of the regional police commander for northern Kosovo, which will be made using the powers of the Association of Serb Municipalities from Article 9 of the Agreement, may considerably contribute to building trust and stabilisation of the political and security situation in the strengthening of the entire territory of Kosovo-Metohija.
The Serbian government at its session today rejected the resignation by Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija, and decided Aleksandar Vulin shall continue to be office director.
