Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Zarko Obradovic talked today with a delegation of Samsung Electronics on cooperation and improving technology infrastructure, knowledge, skills and readiness of the education system to apply ICT in everyday teaching.

Obradovic met with a delegation led by Director of Samsung Electronics for Europe Seok-Pil Kim and said that the Serbian education system is quality, but that innovations at all levels of education are needed as well as increased presence of information technology in order to improve knowledge.
He presented members of this delegation with the projects already underway at the Faculty of Organisational Sciences in Belgrade and in some faculties of the Nis University, and invited the company to contribute to the advancement of Science and Technology Park in Zvezdara.
Representatives of the Samsung delegation pointed out that Samsung Electronics sees Serbia as a strategic market, and they expressed their appreciation for cooperation to improve the education system in Serbia.
On this occasion, it was concluded that it is necessary to draw up a list of priorities in order to concretise ideas that were presented at the meeting.
The meeting was among others attended by Assistant Minister of Education Zoran Kostic and Director of Samsung Electronics for Europe Seok-Pil Kim Kim, according to a statement from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development.
