The Ministry of Justice and Public Administration announced on the occasion of the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia, which is marked on 17 May, that the fight against all forms of discrimination and protection of diversities of one of the main objectives of the development of a democratic society.
he statement said that the government has a great responsibility to prevent discrimination, but also to educate and spread awareness that tolerance and respect for diversity contributes to better mutual understanding and progress of the whole society.
The Ministry of Justice and Public Administration thanks once again the Gay Straight Alliance for recognising the Ministry’s efforts to improve the situation in this field and nominated the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration for the "Rainbow", the statement added.
