Mahmutovic at meeting of Central European Initiative in Budapest

State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Senad Mahmutovic will attend the plenary session of the Central European Initiative on "Green growth – with a focus on rural development" on 16 April in Budapest.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management stated that Mahmutovic will participate in the work of the section "Food Safety", held in parallel with the plenary session.
Promoting regional cooperation in Central and Eastern Europe and European integration cooperation is among strategic goals and the basis of all activities of the Central European Initiative. The former Yugoslavia is one of the founding members of this organisation.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, at the time of Serbian presidency over the Central European Initiative, hosted the conference of ministers of agriculture in May 2011 as part of the Novi Sad Fair of Agriculture, the statement added.
