Raising capacity of all state bodies due to flood risk

Prime Minister and Commander of the State Team for Emergency Situations Ivica Dacic today chaired the session of the Team, which proposed to the Ministry of Finance and Economy to provide additional financial resources to assist with the implementation of additional activities and projects to increase the capacity of the defence on the waters of the first and second order.

At the session it was proposed to urgently adopt a law on anti-hail protection that would allow to provide a system of supply of anti-hail rockets, and pointed out that so far RSD120 million have been provided for the purchase of the rockets, which is in course.
Today's session of the State Team for Emergency Situations was held in order to improve the capacity of all state institutions as long as the risk of flooding in Serbia exists. One of the items on the agenda was the presentation of the Report on the activities to date on the preparation of the Action Plan for the National Strategy for protection and rescue in emergency situations, reads a statement from the Ministry of the Interior.
