The Social Economic Council of Serbia did not reach at its’ session today a decision on the minimum wage for the period March-December this year due to different opinions of employers, trade unions and the Serbian government.
For that reason, the minimum wage for this year will be determined by the Serbian government within 10 days.
The Social Economic Council proposed Boza Draskovic as member of the Board of the Anti-Corruption Agency.
The Council also discussed the initiative for introducing changes to the Criminal Code so as to classify the non-payment of salaries to employees as a criminal offense, and the Draft law on social entrepreneurship and employment in social enterprises.
