The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management announced today that it has received a report from the lab RIKILT Wageningen from the Netherlands on the presence of aflatoxin M1 in 48 samples of milk that was withdrawn by order of the inspection from store shelves on 19 February.
The only reference laboratory of the EU in its report states that 31.25% of the milk samples (15 of 48) do not contain aflatoxins M1 above the EU standard, and none exceed the Serbian maximum level.
The milk mismatching EU standards will be destroyed in accordance with the law.
