Sulejman Ugljanin and Hana Hubackova
In a meeting with Hubackova, Ugljanin recalled that the Czech Republic is interested in helping underdeveloped regions in Serbia and is already doing a lot in that respect.
He presented the project of the Serbian government for the return of refugees and displaced Bosniaks to Priboj.
Hubackova recalled that her country has donated laboratory for quality control of milk and cheese to Sjenica.
The Czech Republic is helping the municipalities under the jurisdiction of the Office of Sustainable Development of Underdeveloped Areas through a number of smaller projects.
According to her, the Czech Republic is planning four new projects this year, one of which is directed at small and medium-sized enterprises.
Swedish Ambassador Christer Asp confirmed in a meeting with Ugljanin his country's readiness to help underdeveloped municipalities in Serbia.
Asp said the Swedish development agency SIDA is the third largest bilateral donor in Serbia, after the United States and Germany.
He confirmed that the decision was made this year to continue to provide assistance, with an annual budget of €13 million.
Sweden helps most the programmes concerning human rights and its focus is on 13 municipalities in southern Serbia, the statement said.
