The government adopted at its today's session the decree laying down the criteria, method of protection, terms, conditions, and procedures for determining the status of a protected purchaser of energy.
The condition for obtaining the status of a protected purchaser of energy is the total monthly income of up to RSD 12,900 for a household with a single member, RSD 18,786 for a household with two or three members, RSD 24,672 for a household with four or five members and up to RSD 30,558 for households with six or more members.
This decree was taken in order to protect the socially vulnerable population and encourage the reform of the energy sector in Serbia.
The government decided to provide the payment of mandatory health for 16,856 employees in 122 companies in restructuring and for members of their families for the next three months.
On the basis of the data from the Tax Administration, the government agreed to settle the budget payment obligations under the compulsory health insurance in the total amount of RSD 229.7 million.
The cabinet also approved the Bill on ratification of the memorandum of understanding between the governments of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Turkey on cooperation in the field of agriculture and also passed a decision to declare 28 February the National Book Day.
The government appointed Vera Stoiljkovic as acting director of the Institute of Virology, Vaccines and Sera "Torlak" and made a decision on granting prior approval for the appointment of Momcilo Babic as director of the Health Insurance Fund.
