Milk, dairy products in Serbia safe for consumption

The Serbian government in its today's meeting assessed that milk and dairy products that are sold in Serbia are entirely fit for use having no adverse consequences for health of our citizens.
Authorised inspection services withdrew from the sale the milk for which there was some doubt as regards to quality and sent their samples to credible expertise in international laboratories.
Detailed analyses of raw milk and dairy products as well as of animal feed are being done while the control of imported milk has been intensified.
The competent authorities will carry out investigations as false information about allegedly improper milk destroy Serbian agro-industry and the market and create the conditions for importing animal feed from genetically modified organisms.
