Bozovic presented the current security and political situation in the country, as well the results of the visit of Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic to Washington.
Diaspora representatives presented a series of proposals on how to improve cooperation between the state and diaspora.
They also sent a strong unanimous support for the Prime Minister and the government of Serbia in their efforts to preserve national and state interests, particularly in Kosovo-Metohija, as well as in their determination to continue with the fight against organised crime and corruption.
It was also unanimously approved that Branko Tupanjac, a prominent businessman from Chicago, becomes a member of the Social and Economic Council.
During the meeting they also discussed the opening of an office of the Serbian diaspora in Washington.
Bozovic will also visit the Chicago Police Academy and FBI Regional Center of Illinois.
