Selakovic said after the meeting that Germany is very interested in being a kind of partner to Serbia in the development of its judicial and legal system in the process of European integration, which has not been present so far on the agenda between the Serbian Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Justice of the Federal Republic of Germany.
They showed great interest in the current state of our judiciary and all that the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration is doing in order to correct negative consequences of the judicial reform which was implemented in the past three years, and that the current activities on improving the situation be carried out in a good and satisfactory manner, Selakovic added.
The Serbian Minister of Justice and Public Administration said that the German Ministry of Justice is one of the organisers of the conference he attended in Berlin.
The conference was dedicated to regulatory reform, i.e. reform of the legislative process that exists not only in Serbia but in other countries in transition as well, Selakovic concluded.
