OSCE satisfied with Serbia’s activities in protecting national minorities

Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Mrkic met with OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Knut Vollebaek who is on a several-day working visit to the Republic of Serbia.
Mrkic expressed his full support to the activities of the High Commissioner on National Minorities, as well as gratitude to Vollebaek on his personal involvement on issues of direct interest to Serbia.
Vollebaek presented the Minister with the activities that he had in the east and south of Serbia during the last two days.
He also expressed satisfaction with the activities implemented by the Republic of Serbia and the way it relates to issues of interest to its ethnic minorities, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
