Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic spoke today with representatives of the British company AJ Walter Aviation about possibilities for cooperation with Jat Airways.
Dacic said during the meeting that the Serbian government is trying to restore the fleet and equipment of Jat Airways so that our national airline company could meet the standards worthy of the 21st century, and welcomed the interest of AJ Walter Aviation to assist in the improvement of Jat’s equipment.
President of AJ Walter Aviation Christopher Whiteside, Director Roger Maynard and Marketing Director David Brown pointed out that AJ Walter Aviation is one of the five largest companies in the world offering this type of service in the airline industry and that it wants to be part of the resolution of the problem at Jat.
Serbian Minister of Transport Milutin Mrkonjic also attended the meeting.
