Deputy Ambassador of Serbia in Turkey dies from heart attack

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Serbian Deputy Ambassador to Turkey Milorad Sekulic died yesterday at the age of 59 from the consequences of a heart attack.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has lost a dear colleague and a friend and one of the best diplomats it has had.
The telegrams of condolences were sent by Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Mrkic.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its deep gratitude to Turkey for everything it has done, especially to Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davutoglu, who was personally engaged in trying to prevent the worst from happening.
The Turkish government has ordered that the remains of the Serbian Deputy Ambassador to Turkey be transferred to Serbia on a special flight. The commemoration will be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 3 January at 11.00, the statement added.
