Bill on amendments to Law on trade adopted

The Serbian government adopted at its session today the Bill on amendments to the Law on air protection, the Bill on amendments to the Law on trademarks and the Bill on amendments to the Law on trade.
The government adopted a conclusion recommending the State Health Insurance Fund to carry out verification of health insurance cards for 2013 for employees and other insured persons in the companies undergoing restructuring, which have not been paying contributions for mandatory health insurance.
The Tax Administration was instructed to compile by 31 December 2012 a list of companies in restructuring that have not paid contributions for health insurance regularly and submit it to the State Health Insurance Fund.
In line with the solutions adopted at today's meeting, the Serbian government decided that the price of natural gas, higher by 10% than to date, will apply to industrial customers who consume about one-seventh of the total amount of gas in the domestic market as of 15 January next year, and for the distributors and households as of 1 February 2013.
The Serbian government has decided to proclaim year 2013 the year of tolerance. The Ministry of Youth and Sports, conscious of the fact that a broader campaign for raising tolerance is necessary, not just at sports events but in the whole society, proposed the government to adopt this decision.
