The biggest task of this and every future government is to boost employment and we have already demonstrated that it can be done with our own resources, strength and intelligence, the First Deputy Prime Minister underlined.
He commended Minister of Finance and Economy Mladjan Dinkic and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic for trying in every place in the country and abroad to help the sale of Serbia’s military industry products and employ as many people as possible.
I also want to thank the company Jugoimport SDPR because in short time it developed new weapons for which one of the biggest contracts in recent years in the defence industry will be signed soon, Vucic underlined.
According to him, if the defence industry continues to develop at this pace, by the end of 2013 it will be possible to find a cure for the part of military industry which today is in a worse position than expected.
Dinkic thanked Vucic for promoting Serbian defence industry which is a great export and development chance of Serbia.
He announced that the Serbian government will make additional investments in the defence industry, which is important because top engineers are being created in this field and many local contractors are hired.
