Products subject to special import duties established

The Serbian government adopted at its session today the decision designating agricultural and food products that are subject to special import duties.
This decision is in line with the implementation of the Interim Trade Agreement concluded between the European Community and Serbia and the agreed liberalisation of tariffs on agricultural products.
The decision, which will gradually reduce duties on imports of agricultural products from the EU, will be in effect from 1 January 2013.
