Selakovic stressed that reforming public administration is equally important as reform of the judiciary, because the public administration is one of the key pillars of the rule of law.
He said that three national strategies are under construction – for reforming the judiciary, fight against corruption and reform of the public administration.
The Minister announced amendments to the Law on administrative procedure, since it is one of systemic laws which is of great importance for public administration.
According to him, the improvement of public administration is also a precondition for an uncompromising fight against corruption.
Asp said that Sweden has good bilateral cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration.
He praised the Ministry for the fight against corruption and added that transparency of work of all state bodies contributes to the reduction of corruption in the state system, according to a statement by the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration.
