The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that on the second day of the conference, Mrkic had a meeting with a delegation of Croatia, led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Vesna Pusic.
Mrkic said that, given the circumstances created by the judgments of the ICTY and the atmosphere that resulted from it, the meeting was good and focused on areas of cooperation in which both countries can have a common interest and benefit.
Mrkic had a separate meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ireland Eamon Gilmore during which, in addition to bilateral issues, they also discussed cooperation during the Irish presidency of the European Union as of 1 January 2013.
The Minister also met with OSCE Representative on National Minorities Knut Vollebaek, OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier, as well as Head of the Delegation of Lithuania Evaldas Ignatavicius.
On the
first day of the conference Mrkic addressed the meeting of the Ministerial Council and had separate meetings with foreign minister of Spain Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo, Denmark Villy Sovndal, the Netherlands Frans Timmermans, Switzerland Didier Burkhalter, Georgia Maya Panjikidze, Ukraine Kostjantin Griscenko, British Minister for Europe David Lidington and French Minister for Europe Bernard Cazeneuve, the statement added.
