The board discussed plans of work and concluded that concrete programmes need to be set up shortly, primarily those that provide employment in Kosovo-Metohija, the return of the expellees and a solution to humanitarian problems.
Kostunica said that a total of 104,907,386 dinars has been paid on the Fund’s account, and noted that the establishment of the Fund for Kosovo-Metohija has been welcomed by public.
The support given by the public and society as a whole is particularly important in helping the Fund fully carry out its goal, which is providing assistance to the endangered Serb community in Kosovo-Metohija.
Members of the managing board are Bishop Artemije, Matija Beckovic, Emir Kusturica, Dejan Bodiroga, Nikola Pavicic (director of Sintelon fro Backa Palanka) and Dragoljub Vukadinovic (director of Metalac from Gornji Milanovac).
Members of the Fund’s supervisory board are Nikola Hajdin (president), Metropolitan Amfilohije, Dejan Popovic and Bozidar Kovacek.
At the invitation of the Fund’s president, the session was also attended by head of the Coordinating Centre for Kosovo-Metohija Nebojsa Covic.
