Cooperation with EULEX in fight against corruption of great importance

State Secretary of the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration Danilo Nikolic met with Rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Bjorn von Sydow.

The Ministry of Justice and Public Administration said that during the meeting they discussed the establishment of cooperation between the Serbian authorities and the provisional self-government bodies in Kosovo-Metohija in the judiciary, especially the fight against corruption.

Von Sydow said that it is necessary that the people living in Kosovo are provided with the availability of state organs and institutions of the judiciary.

Nikolic said that cooperation with EULEX and UNMIK, especially when it comes to the fight against corruption, is of great importance, the statement added.
