Mrkic to attend Francophonie Summit in Kinshasa

Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Mrkic will take part in the work of the 14th Francophonie Summit to be held in Kinshasa, the Democratic Republic of Congo, on 13 and 14 of October.
The Ministry says in a statement that Mrkic will hold meetings with his counterparts and other representatives from several states to whom he will convey personal messages from Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.
Serbia has participated in the International Organisation of La Francophonie since 2006 as an observer state, the statement adds.
