Urgent investigation into fall of military aircraft in Nova Pazova

The Ministry of Defence announced that Serbian Army aircraft “V-54 Lasta” crashed down today about 10.15 in Nova Pazova.

Both pilots ejected from the aircraft. One pilot is out of danger, while the other one who was in a serious condition was immediately transported to the Military Medical Academy.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vucic ordered an immediate investigation.
Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen. Ljubisa Dikovic and State Secretary of Defence Aleksandar Nikolic will visit the injured pilot.
The plane crashed today in the centre of Nova Pazova, near Belgrade. There are no casualties among the population of the city, the statement added.
