Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Mrkic met with several of his counterparts in New York yesterday, namely Egypt’s foreign minister Mohamed Kamel Amr, Norway’s Espen Barth Eide, Montenegro’s Nebojsa Kaludjerovic and Ukraine’s Konstantin Grishenko.
The Ministry states that Mrkic, who is attending the 67th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, yesterday also spoke to the Council of Europe Secretary General Thorbjorn Jagland.
Today in New York Mrkic will hold several bilateral meetings, with, among others, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov, with whom he will sign two agreements on cooperation between Serbia and Russia.
