Efficient judiciary essential for fight against corruption

Minister of Justice and Public Administration Nikola Selakovic said today in Zlatibor that the aim of the government and the Ministry is the creation of efficient incorrupt courts and prosecutors.

The announcement of the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration states that Selakovic today participated in the 49th regular annual consultations of the Serbian Association of Criminal Law Theory and Practice, which is held from 20 to 22 September.
Selakovic pointed out that the results of this meeting are aimed at the main objectives of the government, the fight against corruption and organised crime.
The Minister said that impartial and incorruptible judiciary is essential to the fight against corruption and organised crime.
Vigorous enforcement of laws and their implementation at any cost are the conditions without which this struggle is impossible, he stressed, adding that all the rules, laws and regulations that leave room for corruption must be changed.
