Customs duties will not be charged for the import of wheat and rapeseed until 30 June 2013 and for the import of corn, soy and sunflower seed until 31 August 2013.
This is one of the measures which the government is undertaking in order to alleviate the consequences of the drought that has considerably reduced this year’s yield. These measures will help to protect the agricultural market.
The government also adopted a report on the current and anticipated electricity trends by the end of the year, as well as measures to be implemented in order to secure stable functioning of the electric energy system in Serbia.
The government tasked Director of the Office for Belgrade–Pristina Dialogue Dejan Pavicevic to conduct the technical dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, with EU mediation.
This decision relieves the current head of the negotiating team Borislav Stefanovic and deputy head Vladimir Jovicic of their duties in the negotiating process.
The supervisory board of the telecommunications operator Telekom Srbija was recommended by the government to propose engineer Predrag Culibrk as Telekom’s acting director general, bearing in mind that Culibrk is a non-partisan expert with 12 years of experience in telecommunications.
At today’s session, the government appointed Milan Krkobabic as Director General of the Serbian postal company PTT Srbija, Milos Tomic as acting director general of public company Transnafta in Pancevo and Nikola Petrovic as acting director general of electric energy transmission system and market operator Elektromreza Srbije.
