Mrkic ends visit to Iran

Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Mrkic ended today his visit to Tehran, where he participated in the 16th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, on whose margins he had the opportunity to meet with more than 30 foreign ministers.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that, before addressing one of the largest gatherings of today, Mrkic met with the foreign ministers of Iran, India, Algeria, Ghana, Namibia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Iraq, Kuwait and Kazakhstan.
The Minister also met with the foreign ministers of Egypt and Cuba, as well as with officials of Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro.
The Serbian delegation had the opportunity to meet with representatives of many international organisations such as the Red Cross and the Arab League, the statement added.
