Belgrade, 29 Aug 2012 –Minister of Health Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic met today with Director of the UNICEF Office in Serbia Judita Reichenberg.

The Ministry of Health said that it was concluded that it is necessary to continue successful cooperation in the protection of children's rights within the framework of the Programme for Serbia until 2015, with a focus on reform processes, particularly related to the social inclusion of the most vulnerable children and young people.
An agreement was reached on the process of mapping of services and capacity assessment related to assistance for parents and children in the period from conception until the child is aged 3. They also highlighted the importance of health and educational work.
