Selakovic and Kacin expressed the readiness for cooperation and assistance on the way of Serbia to the European Union.
The Minister stressed that strengthening the rule of law and its institutions goes together with the European integration of Serbia, adding that Serbia has the same goals that all other EU countries had and achieved.
Serbia's EU accession is a demanding task for the whole country and for the Ministry, he said and expressed his gratitude for the support of the EU and the European Parliament Rapporteur for Serbia in this process.
Kacin said that one of the most important steps in EU integration is the establishment of the rule of law.
He expressed hope that Serbia in the future will send quality messages that will confirm the establishment of the rule of law and an effective judicial system and the fight against corruption and organised crime.
Selakovic added that the Serbian government and he personally advocate that there should not be untouchable ones in all these processes.
