The Serbian Ministry of Interior said today that the Belgrade police have carried out a wide-ranging operation aimed at cracking down on piracy, seizing 18,000 bootleg CDs, DVDs, and DivXs.
The statement goes on to say that 55 people were taken in during the three-day operation, of which five were detained for 48 hours, on suspicion that they had violated copyright laws.
