"Trinity Travel" owner arrested for abuse of office

The Ministry of the Interior said that in cooperation of the criminal police and Belgrade Police with the First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office, the owner and director of Belgrade-based travel agency "Trinity Travel" Nenad R. (1971) has been arrested today.
The statement said that Nenad R. was arrested on suspicion of abuse of office.
The suspect is suspected of taking off part of the money paid by tourists for their travel arrangements worth RSD 50,000 to RSD 150,000. He did not pay those full amounts to the firm account, and consequently, failed to pay the agreed arrangements to hoteliers at the selected destinations.
In this way, the passengers were unable to have their trips and were not refunded for the services not rendered.
Police officers of the City of Belgrade are establishing the facts relating to the business of "Trinity Travel" from Belgrade.
Those damaged by "Trinity Trevel" are called on to contact the Belgrade City Police, at phone number 011/2797-424, the statement said.
