Government adopts decision on maximum prices of drugs for use in human medicine

The government passed a decision at today's meeting of the highest prices of drugs for use in human medicine on prescription.
This decision will prevent the problem of shortages of medicines, contribute to the normalisation of drug markets in Serbia and provide a better and safer healthcare for the citizens.
It will also increase the overall supply and ensure greater competitiveness. The decision refers to 531 medicines. This is the first in a series of measures to provide cheaper medicines in Serbia.
A programme on the conditions and incentives for production and repair of rail vehicles in the Republic of Serbia for Serbian Railways by the end of this year has been adopted.
Also, the government has instructed the General Secretariat to solve the housing issue of gold medalist at the Olympic Games in London Milica Mandic, in cooperation with the Ministry of Construction and Urban Planning, the Ministry of Youth and Sport and the Property Directorate.
