New projects in health sector with World Bank support

Minister of Health Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic and a delegation of the World Bank announced at today’s meeting that in the period ahead the investment programme aimed at improving the quality of health services and the overall health protection will be continued.
The Ministry of Health says in a statement that the World Bank delegation was headed by Regional Director and Coordinator for South East Europe Jane Armitage and Head of the World Bank office in Serbia Loup Brefort.
They voiced the World Bank’s readiness to continue cooperation on new projects in the health sector.
As for implementing the capitation method in the health care system, they stated that the award system must not be administrative, the statement adds.
