The statement adds that the campaign will be mostly focused on roads along Corridor 10 and it will include putting up posters at border crossings Horgos, Batrovci, Presevo and Gradina, as well as police check points at Bubanj Potok, Simanovci and Nais.
The posters will include essential information with telephone numbers of emergency services, warnings concerning the traffic and possibilities for foreign citizens and citizens of Serbia to submit praise or a complaint regarding the work of police officers or to report any instances of corruptive behavior or other criminal acts. These can be reported to phone number 011 361 0018.
Calls will be directed to operators speaking English or German language and to police officers who will then act as they deem necessary.
The project is implemented by the Traffic Police Administration while other administrations within the Police Directorate are also involved.
The police will control the implementation of the planned measures and activities and the legality of police officers’ work on Corridor 10, the statement adds.
