Remains of 21 victims of Serbian nationality identified in Zagreb

The Commission for Missing Persons announced that the Department of Forensic Medicine and Criminology, Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb, today in the presence of family members identified the remains of 21 victims of Serbian nationality.
The statement says that the victims were killed during the armed conflict in the former Yugoslavia, in the territory of the Republic of Croatia, in the period 1991-1995.
The remains were exhumed in Vrbovljani, Korenica, Vukovar, Petrinja, Okucani and other locations, and this was done by using DNA analysis.
Their funerals will be conducted in accordance with the wishes expressed by their families.
The process of identifying the victims of Serbian nationality who died in the territory of Croatia has thus continued, the statement says.
