Uzice hospital reconstruction launched

Deputy Minister of Health Nevena Karanovic will visit the Uzice health centre marking the launch of a €3.5 million modernisation of Uzice’s hospital.
The project, which includes the procurement of equipment and reconstructions of two wards at the hospital in the Western Serbian city, is funded from a €50 million loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and is managed by the Serbian Ministry of Health.
The entire health sector modernisation project includes 19 additional general hospitals across Serbia and the Torlak virology institute.
Works have also been launched at hospitals in Jagodina, Paracin, Sremska Mitrovica, and Smederevo.
