The Ministry for Kosovo-Metohija announced today that it strongly condemns the burning of houses of Serb returnees in the village of Drenovac in the municipality of Klina and requests the EULEX mission to find the perpetrators.
The statement says that the line Ministry has been warning the international mission about constant attacks and the difficult position of Serb returnees in the province, and particularly pointed out that in recent months the security of returnees around Klina has worsened.
The Ministry for Kosovo-Metohija requests from KFOR to increase presence in returnee villages near Klina and protect the lives and property of Serbs from Albanian extremists, the statement added.
