Electoral roll protected from all kinds of abuse

The Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, Public Administration and Local Self-Government responding to various allegations regarding the electoral roll stated that there has never been nearly as accurate, precise and updated electoral roll in Serbia as the one it has today, adding that it is protected from all sorts of abuse.
The statement adds that any change made after the establishment of the central system is logged and the name, ID number and the type of change are known.
More than four million errors and defects were removed thanks to the central system.
This fact proves that the single electoral roll has set a standard that cannot be compared to anything Serbia had had before.
In order to clarify the single electoral roll as an electronic database, the Ministry has offered all parliamentary parties that the Minister and his associates explain the electoral roll to them.
We are ready to inform every interested political participant about what the single electoral roll is, what its importance is and what we have achieved by introducing it, the statement adds.
