Deadline for submitting bids for strategic partner to Smederevo steelworks extended

The Serbian government today stated that the deadline for submitting bids for the selection of a strategic partner to Zelezara Smederevo steelworks has been extended.
Interested companies may submit their bids by 11 June 2012, reads the statement and adds that the government decided to extend the deadline because participants in the tender had asked for it.
Companies that have so far applied for participation are United Pilsen S.A. Luxembourg, Donetsk Steel from Ukraine and Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company from Russia.
