RSD 1.39bn earmaked for upcoming presidential election

The government has approved funds amounting to RSD 1.39 billion from the budgetary reserve for the holding of the upcoming presidential election.
RSD 843 million will be allocated for the financing of election campaigns, while RSD 548 million will be provided for the Republican Electoral Commission.
Bearing in mind that the presidential election is held simultaneously with parliamentary and local elections, the Serbian budget will thus save RSD 600 million.
